Bishop Samuel Washington, Sr., formally a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Inc., served from 1965- 2016. He worked in the retail grocery industry for 26 yrs. before devoting himself full time to the ministry as Pastor of The Apostolic Church of Jesus - Tampa. Under the ACOJ Organization - Largo church, he was filled with the Holy Ghost in November 1989. During his tenure he served in various capacities such as; Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, Minster, Elder, and on the Pastor's Aide Board. In his previous capacity, Bishop Washington also served as the District Overseer of the Florida West Coast District of the Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc.

In September 2016, under the leading of the Lord, Bishop Washington left the ACOJ organization, and changed the name of his church to New Season Apostolic Ministries, Inc., where God has continued to show himself faithful.

He is married to Elder Yolanda Washington, and has four children; Taria, Samuel Jr., Joshua, and Darius. Bishop Washington operates effectively in the Gift of Faith, believing God to do just what His Word says He will do.
